Our Mission
The North Park Friendship Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and poverty in the Albany Park and North Park neighborhoods of Chicago. Our signature program is a food pantry. We also distribute free clothing and household goods, offer job training to our volunteer staff, and seek to provide or refer clients to needed services. We are supported by individuals, churches, institutions, businesses, grantors and foundations.

The Friendship Center was the featured pantry in a film clip shown during The Biggest Loser on November 3rd. Watch and enjoy!
Our Services
NPFC provides an increasing number of ministries to families, children, adults, and seniors in our neighborhood, including:
   • Food pantry (including food delivery for the home-bound)
   • Mother's Closet—providing clothing for all ages
   • Referral services
   • Job training and counseling
